Volunteers
Volunteers are an engaging group of friends and neighbors who assist staff by monitoring properties, participating in work parties and special events, and sometimes organizing and leading educational field trips.

Volunteer Stewards fulfill an important need by helping us “keep an eye” on a specific Land Bank preserve. Volunteer Stewards commit to visiting their preserve on a regular basis. Those with special skills can take on side projects, such as bird or wildflower inventory or property mapping. Stewards are generally asked to pick up litter, look for signs of inappropriate use, or help with noxious weed removal.  Becoming a volunteer steward is a wonderful way to help out, while becoming intimately familiar with a special place in all of its seasons and changes.

Your interest in volunteering is welcome! Please contact the Land Bank office for more information.
